8-Day Itinerary for Victoria Falls, Hwange, Livingstone, and Chobe Trip

• 07:00-11:00: Game drive in Zambezi National Park

Your second day is dedicated to wildlife encounters. Start with an early morning game drive in Zambezi National Park to witness diverse wildlife in their natural habitat. After returning for lunch, engage in an unforgettable elephant interaction and cheetah encounter that allows you to get up close with these magnificent animals. In the evening, dine at Mama Africa Restaurant to experience more local flavors.

• 07:00-09:30: Canopy tour
• 10:00-12:30: Bridge tour (Victoria Falls Bridge), optional bungee jumping, swing, slide.
• 12:30: Lunch at The Bridge Cafe
• Afternoon: Relax at Shongwe Lookout or explore Victoria Falls town

On your third day, embark on a canopy tour that provides breathtaking views of gorges as you wind down the tree/ropes canopy. Following this adventure, take a guided tour of the iconic Victoria Falls Bridge; if you’re feeling adventurous, consider bungee jumping/bring swing/slide from the bridge for an adrenaline rush. Enjoy lunch at The Bridge Cafe before spending your afternoon relaxing or exploring local shops and attractions.

• 08:00: Depart from Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park by road (approximately 2 hours).
• 10:30: Arrive at Hwange National Park.
• 11:00 - 15:00: Game drive within Hwange National Park
• 19:00: Dinner at the lodge.

After breakfast, depart for Hwange National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive where you can spot elephants, lions, and various other wildlife species. After checking into your lodge later in the afternoon, unwind before enjoying dinner.

• 06:00 - 09:00: Early morning game drive .
• 09:30 - 11:30: Visit a waterhole for wildlife viewing.
• 12:00: Lunch back at the lodge.
• 14:00 - 18:00: Afternoon game drive or walking safari .

Start your day early with another game drive to catch sight of more wildlife during their active hours. Afterward, visit one of Hwange’s waterholes for additional viewing opportunities before returning for lunch. In the afternoon, choose between another game drive or an exciting walking safari led by experienced guides.

• 06:00: Drive from Hwange  to Livingstone, Zambia (approx. 4 hours)
• 11:00: Check-in at Zigzag Lodge a very comfortable lodge
• 12:00: Village tour (local community) - Engage with the local culture by visiting a nearby village where you can learn about traditional customs, crafts, and daily life of the residents.
• 13:0-1400: Lunch at The River Club - Enjoy a meal with stunning views of the Zambezi River, offering a relaxing atmosphere to reflect on your morning experiences.
• 15:00: Market tour (local crafts and curios) - Explore local markets where artisans sell handmade crafts, jewelry, and souvenirs that reflect the rich cultural heritage of Zambia.

• 09:00: Microlight flight over Victoria Falls - Experience breathtaking aerial views of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. This flight provides an unparalleled perspective on the falls and surrounding landscapes.
• 12:00: Lunch at The River Club - Return for another delightful meal at The River Club, allowing time to relax before your next adventure.
• 13:00 Visit Devil’s Pool (during low water season,)- Take a guided trip to this natural infinity pool located at the edge of Victoria Falls. It’s essential to visit during low water season for safety reasons

• 08:00: Morning Game Drive
  Begin your day with an exhilarating morning game drive. This early start allows you to experience the wildlife at its most active, as many animals are more visible during the cooler hours of the morning. Expect to see a variety of species, including elephants, lions, and various antelope.
• 10:00: Check-out from Lodge
  After your game drive, return to your lodge for breakfast and prepare for check-out. Ensure that all personal belongings are packed, and any outstanding bills are settled before departure.
• Departure Transfer to Victoria Falls Airport or Livingstone Airport
  Following check-out, you will be transferred to either Victoria Falls Airport or (LVI) Airport. The choice of airport may depend on your onward travel plans. The transfer typically takes about 30 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic and distance from your lodge.
