Overview

Day 1

13:30: Arrive at Victoria Falls Airport, transfer to Phezulu Lodge or similar accommodation. Upon arrival at VFA airport, travellers will go through customs and immigration before being greeted by our friendly guide. The journey from the airport to the lodge typically takes around 20-30 minutes.
16:00: Enjoy a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. This activity allows you to relax while taking in stunning views of the river and surrounding landscape. Light snacks and drinks are usually provided, making it a perfect way to unwind after a day of travel.
19:30: Dinner at The Boma Restaurant. Guests can enjoy traditional African cuisine, which often includes dishes such as game meat, stews, and local vegetables. The atmosphere is lively, often featuring cultural drum performances that enhance the dining experience.

Day 2

08:00: Begin with a guided tour of Victoria Falls ,one of the largest waterfalls in the world, this UNESCO World Heritage site offers spectacular views and insights into its geological significance.
11:00: Experience the “Flight of Angels” helicopter ride over Victoria Falls. This aerial perspective view provides an unforgettable view of both the falls and the Zambezi River.
12:00: Lunch at The Three Monkeys Restaurant. This venue is known for its relaxed atmosphere and diverse menu options catering to various tastes.
14:00: Participate in an elephant interaction program where guests can learn about these magnificent creatures up close while contributing to conservation efforts.
19:00: Dinner at Dustroad Restaurant. This establishment features a cozy ambiance with a menu that highlights local flavors alongside international dishes.

Day 3

06:00: Start the day with a morning horseback ride through Zambezi National Park. This unique experience allows participants to explore the park’s diverse ecosystems while getting close to nature in an intimate way on the back of the horse.
12:00: Return to the lodge for lunch. Meals typically feature local ingredients and flavours, providing a taste of Zimbabwean cuisine.
14:00: Embark on an afternoon game drive in Zambezi National Park. This guided tour offers opportunities to spot various wildlife species including elephants, lions, giraffes, and numerous bird species.
19:00: Dinner at The Lookout Cafe. Located on the edge of a gorge, this restaurant provides elegant dining with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Day 4

07:00: Breakfast at the hotel before preparing for departure activities.
08:00: Visit a local market to purchase souvenirs and see the Big Tree—a notable landmark that adds cultural context to your visit.
10:30: Departure transfer back to Victoria Falls Airport for onward travel or return home.
